Chester House is arranged around a grassy square (‘the quad’). From the quad, you can access our garden area and beyond that you can access the grounds of the North Bank Estate (access is through a locked gate – ask reception for the code). You will need your security fob to get back into the building, but remember your security fob won’t work after 10pm on the doors from the grounds (this is so other residents and our neighbours are not disturbed).
The estate is very peaceful and there are plenty of places to sit, read and relax. Football and other balls games can be played on the large lawn on the North Bank Estate. We ask that ball games are not played in the quad or the Chester House gardens (too near windows, etc.).
On the North Bank Estate there is the Muswell Hill Methodist Church and the Muswell Hill Methodist Lawn Tennis Club. The church often have events that residents can enjoy such as bonfire night and live music in the summer. The tennis club provide discounted membership for residents and residents can use one of the tennis courts for free at certain times. Ask at reception for details (and to borrow rackets and balls).
